This is the first project I worked on to showcase my skills and thought process. I designed a shopping app from scratch that was meant to be simple, easy to use, and aesthetically pleasing. Quick onboarding and quick checkout were the two primary goals of this app. (This page is still a work in progress but you can at least read my reasonings on certain things.)

Having used the Amazon for many years and inquiring with others about areas for improvement, I decided to rework several pieces of the app myself. Each redesign has its reasons between the product search page to orders and more! It isn’t a comprehensive app redesign so much as it is attempts to resolve pain points that exist throughout the app.

A proof of concept on a dark mode for Amazon’s mobile app. It was the most requested feature by far and one that had its own series of challenges to create. The core challenges were the color palettes creation, assessing contrast, and giving a feeling of warmth.
