Who is Nick?
I am an early-career product and interaction designer whose path to design runs through applied psychology, published human factors research, and two years of daily face-to-face user discovery.
I hold a B.A. in Applied Psychology, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I conducted heuristic evaluations of patient-facing digital platforms and presented research at an international human factors symposium. This gave me a research foundation that most designers spend years trying to develop. My design work is grounded in a genuine curiosity about how people think, where they get stuck, and what it takes to build experiences that feel effortless.
I am actively seeking my first product design role where research-grounded thinking, strong craft, and a hunger to grow can make a real impact.
In my free time I enjoy playing video games with my friends, being outside, and taking photos with my camera! I love to be creative where I can be.
